What is Awakening Yoga Style?
Awakening Yoga is a modified Vinyasa style created by Patrick Beach and Carling Harps.
It focuses on specific movement patterns that will strengthen the body through mobility.
This approach brings movement into the hips and therefore allows it to open easily with a lot of squat, hip & spine rotations.
Through unique movements, the body develops a pattern that allows it to strengthen in a short time period.
Traditional vinyasa San-Saturation A Y B are modified from the traditional one incorporating squads instead of folding hip compression, shoulder stability, core activation, and spinal openness allowing the lower back to gain mobility.
When I first learned the style I right away fell in love cause my body in a very short time became stronger. My flexibility and my active mobility got better. I was able to strengthen parts of the body that was never pointed in the traditional vinyasa style that I used to practice for many years.
It brings awareness to the body on how to move in space with intelligent sequences that target specific muscle groups.
This style is also very focused on hands on the floor and starting to wake up and develop a healthy arm balance practice.
Hands-on the floor is a very important part of vinyasa-style yoga. Placing the hands on the floor in the awakening style does a really good job of incorporating the spine, the core, and intelligent and functional folding hips into the equation.

Who am I?
I’m Magda, a former Photographer. I’m half Chilean & half German. I’m currently living in Berlin, Germany.
I was raised in Chile by the ocean and I’ve lived half of my life in South America and the other half in Germany.
I started my Yoga journey in 2018. As a child I was gymnastic. I stopped in my early teens. Yoga found me at a moment in my life when I needed answers. I first started craving arm balances in the past, so I wanted to get my handstand training back. Right after I knew I wanted more.
By the summer of 2021, I finished my first 200 hrs YTT. I felt the desire to teach, but I knew I needed to teach myself first, to find the tools, the courage, and MY WAY to teach you. In 2022 I started my 300 hrs training which will be finished very soon.
Yoga brought me back to myself, developed my self-love, and rooted me. Throughout the movement, I started to understand my emotions and go deeper into my true purpose. After traveling the world between 2021-2023 the desire to start an online platform and teach grew stronger and stronger inside of me. This way I could teach people from every part of the world.
Yoga gave me acceptance – the art of letting go – surrendering – deep breathing to trust the process.
I want to guide you and give you the right tools that once were given to me in order to develop what you need. To walk this life in a more gentle, mindful, and conscious way. To enjoy the process in your life journey, learn to love your body and built the resilience to hear what you need in the right now.
